Book Your City with Lulu & Rocky
Lulu, the winner of the 2017 License Global "One to Watch" award, has been packing her bags for exciting adventures into the world of products. Renée Graef debuted Lulu at the Licensing Expo last May.
Lulu is a zipping blend of Eloise and Rick Steves. Artist, Renée Graef and author, Barbara Joosse are launching a series of children's books with Sleeping Bear Press. Lulu is joined by her cousin, Rocky, as they explore cities and make emotional connections--putting a human face on a real place.
The Lulu brand is branching off into puzzles, coloring books and paper dolls. Additional sticker and maze books will explore different modes of transportation. Lulu and Rocky inspire children to travel: either from the cozy couch or from the coach seat on a plane. The world is their oyster and they travel it in style!

Artist Renée Graef's brand Lulu is the winner of Licensing Global's One to Watch contest for new Licensing Expo exhibitors.
"The Lulu brand really stood out among the entries we received because of its detailed brand concept", says Steven Ekstract, group publisher, Licensing Global. "Beyond being beautifully executed and visually appealing, Lulu's adventures around the world will foster a vital sense of curiosity and exploration in children. Retailers and parents today are looking for more than a cute brand, they want products with a philosophy and purpose, and Lulu, as well as all of our 'One to Watch' finalists, deliver on that demand."
Graef's Lulu concept features a friendly fox, who explores the world's cities with her two sidekicks: Pufferson, a well-informed owl, and Lars, a reluctant penguin. Lulu relishes both the famed highlights and the unexpected corners of each town she visits, with the help of a local guide, and through her travels, brings the world to children's homes.
Lulu is written by Barbara Joosse, author of over 50 books for children in over 30 languages, including "Mama, Do You Love Me?"(over 2 million sold)
